JPD Foundation has run the Festival del Boulevard cultural event since 2003 and has supported local arts organizations and artists as well as a range of civic organizations. The Festival, a multi-ethnic event that takes place every June on Juan Pablo Duarte Boulevard (St. Nicholas Avenue) between 181st and 187th, attracts 5000-7000 people, primarily families with children.
Activities include art exhibits, dance, mask making, face painting, storytelling, and children’s workshops. Funds collected are used to support the mission of JPD.
