JPD has been allocated a 1,515 square foot space at the new George Washington Bridge Port Authority terminal to be used for community purposes. The JPD Community Space is rent-free until 2027, but JPD Foundation is responsible for all other expenses. In collaboration with a broad range of formal and informal community organizations, JPD Foundation will utilize the space for multiple services and programs.
These include, among others: art exhibits, children’s workshops, book readings, film showings, theater rehearsals and performances, meeting spaces, and receptions and networking events.

The Community Space will provide critically needed space to community groups and artists, tremendously enriching the community and promoting collaboration among participating groups. Funds will be used for salaries, equipment, furniture, supplies, and other operating costs, enabling the Foundation to make the space available without charge and/or for affordable fees.
